Dd has just turned two, she knows when she's weed and poo'd and kept taking her nappy off so I thought I'd give the Oh Crap method a go. We are now on day four and although we've had a few wees on the potty when I've taken her in the toilet with me or managed to get her on mid-pee, I don't think we are making progress.

I don't know whether to give up or is it too early to give up? I'm getting fed up of staying in the house but I don't feel confident going out when she can't say she needs to go.

Any advice please?

I'd honestly leave it a while. I left my DD until just after she'd turned three, and she was immediately out of nappies day and night with not a single accident. It was so easy, so I'd wait until really ready and then try again! I never saw any need to hurry with it.

If you want to persevere, she will eventually get it IME if you give it a few more days. No harm though in stopping and trying again later. It's up to you really!
