My 9 year old daughter will not wipe after going toilet, every time, wee or poo. I tell her to wipe all the time. She brings down dirty knickers and most go in bin they are that bad. I'm at the end of it where I'm getting so suck and tired off telling her and showing her, as its been years.
Any ideas?

what if you were to go back to wiping her?

Maybe she's just not good at wiping? Or maybe she has piles and it's sore and she doesn't want to tell you? You could give her a wee jug (1litre) and let her wash with water every time, maybe explain to her she will be cleaner and smell less that way?

Have you tried flushable wet wipes incase she is sore? Or as bee said try a jug? Could you use a panty liner for at school to help stop ruining the pants and maybe help with the smell a little. Is she nervous to wipe or just cant be bothered?

And just a reminder OP that flushable wipes are not flushable.

Any idea why OP?

If it's just stubborn behavior, maybe offer a small reward for being cleaner?

I’m always a little nervous about first time posters and requests for advice relating to bodily functions and girls of this age.

Perhaps the OP should seek help from the GP.
