So it's been day 5 of potty training ds. 2yo11months.

He's been doing pretty well, but is still having 2 wee accidents a day and has been hit and miss with the poo, we've had 2 on the potty and 2 on the floor, one right next to the potty.

I'm not sure he's 100% ready, but I don't want to put him in a nappy and undo his progress. He's so pleased with himself when he goes on the toilet or potty and is even asking to go when wearing his morning/evening nappy.

So he has nursery tomorrow, I was going to send him in pants with loads of spare clothes and a few pull ups just in case it's disastrous.

I think it could go either way, but I think he will like going with the other children and using the little nursery toilets. Also he seems to cooperate more with other people, he gets a bit annoyed with me keep reminding him.

I was thinking to give it at least 3 days of pants at nursery before giving up.

It sounds like he's doing really well, and I'd definitely give it at least 3 days at nursery, as you suggested, but be prepared that he may have lots of accidents on his first nappy-free day there (my 2 DC did!), but hopefully, after that he'll get the hang of using the potty away from home. My 2 were better with other people too, and were quite happy for the nursery staff to suggest they sat on the potty, and would do as they asked, but when it was me asking/suggesting they put up much more resistance! Good luck to you both! XX
