Getting to use a toilet without an aid.

my DD is 3 and she won't use the toilet without her little seat that sits on the top to make the toilet seat smaller - it's quite a bulky seat to be carrying around and we have booked a holiday and carrying it onto a plane will be quite difficult along with everything else to take.

Does anyone have an tips or advice on getting her to use a toilet normally without the use of an aid?

You used to be able to get quite small ones from places like B and M,

Do you know anyone with a slightly older child who doesn’t use a seat? Engineer them in a toilet at the same time and then encourage your DD no to use a seat just like x, lots of ‘what a big girl’ etc etc

To be fair to your dd my very large ds who's 4 still won't use a toilet without the seat on.
B and m do small cushion ones which just makes the hole smaller, and the foldable ones are really good. Other than that holding her but getting her to hold the edge on the seat? Although the hygiene thing is questionable.
