Night time conundrum!

DS is just over 4 and a half, and we ditched the night time nappies on Monday after he's had seven dry nights in a row. He was extremely pleased, but went on to wet the bed on Monday night, Wednesday night and last night again. Do I put him back in nappies or ride it out?!

He has been dry during the day since before age 3. He's been wanting to get out of nappies at night (which I'd be very happy with) so we had agreed that seven dry nights in a row means we'll ditch the nappies.

He says he thinks he didn't feel the urge to wee, but I am not sure if he is saying this to avoid being told off for laziness. (I wouldn't have a huge go at him but we've talked many times about needing to get up if he feels he needs to wee.) I have tried waking him up before (while in nappies) to wee in the night when I sensed that he was in very light sleep, and he refused to get up then. He doesn't like being wet though and last night he stood up straight away after he'd peed himself.

Do you think I should just ride it out, or should the nappies go back on? I don't want to spend most nights changing the bed, but equally I don't want to set him back if a few more wet nights are the price of losing the nappies for good. (I am also pregnant now and quite keen not to have to deal with accidents from DS1 once I'm approaching term/have a newborn to deal with as well.)
