Day 4 and only accidents still

My DS2 is just over 3 and now wanted to wear big boy pants as I bought the right cartoon pants. He's watched his 5 year old brother and is happy to wear the pants then sit on the toilet/ potty but we've still not had a wee then. He only tells us after it's happened.
Not sure what to do. My eldest got his pants one day at 2.5years old and wanted to wear them, had a few accidents then it clicked.
Do I continue as he's happy wearing them? He doesn't get upset when he has accidents. Do you think it's just a case of continuing until it clicks?

My Ds is just over three as well and we gave potty training another go a few weeks ago.. he just ended up wee-ing himself and poo’ing himself in his pants all the time. He could only tell us when he had been rather than when he needed too. We’ve given up for the time being as I don’t want to put him off- we are trying again next month!

I might ask him again in the morning whether he wants to wear pants or pull ups. See if he wants to stop

I’d say stop for now and try again in a couple of weeks. You never know, he might ask for pants in the meanwhile.

You you want to stop but he wants to wear pants you can always let him have a pair on over his nappy.

My DS took a while to get it too. I think by day 4 he was still having only accidents (can't quite remember). I persevered because I really wanted to potty train him (I hate changing nappies!) and it clicked a few days later.
