My LG is almost 2.5yrs. We have now been potty training for a week. Only having about 1-2 accidents a day. Currently I am asking her to go try every couple of hours and she will and often does wee then. However she isnt overly keen on saying she needs a wee. Most recently she will start in her knickers and then stop herself and either hold her bits or make a funny sound, we run to the potty or toilet and she finishes her wee in there. But I'm finding I'm spending more time looking for the signs of her needing to wee than her telling me.
She shows every sign of being ready and answers all the questions confidently about where we wee, what we shout, where do we run, why don't we do it in our knickers etc. Should I keep just telling her to go every couple of hours and watching for signs and then she will soon get it???
Sorry for the long post. X

I'm having the exact same problem. It's our 3rd week of potty training and my 2.5 yr old does a tiny bit of wee in her pants, sometimes only a 10p size then holds the rest for the toilet. So following with fingers crossed for an answer!

Shameless bump for traffic!

I would say keep persevering - it sounds like she’s aware. And that’s the biggest positive. I know it’s really hard but I’d try and keep going for a while if you can. She’ll get there.
