Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of advice on potty training please.

We started to potty train my dd at the beginning of March. First few days were iffy but we spent a good 12 days dry and she would take herself off to the toilet every time she needed a wee and we had no problems at all and I was really confident she was reliable. (She started to refuse the potty and would only use the toilet.)

We've since had 2 weeks of having to take her to the toilet every hour to try for a wee. If I leave her to it she just wets herself like she's got no idea she needed to go.

So my question really is do I put her back in nappies for a few weeks and try again later or should we persevere and hope she figures it out again?

My concern is that by taking her to the toilet so frequently that I'm effectively being her nappy and she's not learning to equate the 'needing to wee' feeling with what taking herself to the toilet!

Thank you
