So many accidents at nursery!

My 2.4 year old DS has been potty training since just before Christmas. At home, at grandparents house, out and about shopping parties etc etc he is fine and will tell us he needs to go for a wee. Pooing is another matter and he takes himself off secretly and stands with his legs crossed but this is very obvious and we always pop him on the toilet/potty in time. As a result there are very very few wet pants accidents.

Except at nursery! He is wetting through every change of clothes I send and I'm running out! He's already had 3 accidents today and it's not even lunchtime. Wondering how I can help with this situation or what to say to nursery??

Mine child is exactly the same. Dry at home and out but won't entertain the toilet at nursery. I think shyness maybe a reason but I have no practical help to offer sorry.

DS was having about 6 accidents a day at nursery when he first started potty training even though he was pretty much 100% at home. Nursery suggested we took his potty with us to Nursery for him to use during the day and he quickly improved.

It can be that children are too busy/caught up in what they are doing at nursery to notice in time that they need to go and either have too little or no time to get to the potty/toilet. Could you ask the nursery staff to make a point of reminding him every hour until he gets more into the habit of going to the toilet himself at nursery?
