DD is 2.6 & am going to give potty training a go this weekend. I've had the potty for a good few months now & we've spoken what it's for etc. Shes said a few times recently she is going to wear big girl knickers a do wees & poos on potty - bless her. Anyway to my point -

As silly as it sounds when I start Saturday am I just letting roam indoors in a pair of knickers (obviously dressed top half) so when she needs to go for a wee/poo I can quickly get her on the potty?

Always my advice but read 'Oh Crap'. You can download and it's a quick read. She recommends no underwear for the first few weeks because wearing underwear can give them the secure feeling of wearing a nappy.
