DS is 3 in Dec & starting school jan.
we started ok with potty training.
He eventually said when he needed potty.
This stopped and he only went when we put him on.
He’s gone back further now & keeps pooing his pants.
Like really bad too. I’ve had to chuck so many clothes away.
X3 today he’s crapped himself & not bothered to tell me.
I’ve put him back into a pull up as he just doesn’t seem ready.
I’m so worried about it.
Other than this he’s very bright with no other concerns.

Don’t worry OP, if he’s only just 3 then I am sure he won’t be the first child who’s started in nappies. Maybe phone the setting to discuss?

Have you tried a reward chart? Choc buttons for using the potty?

Thanks for reply.
I’ve tried everything!!
He’s so blooming stubborn.

He’s not ready. You didn’t expect him to walk at 2 months did you? Talk at 3 months? Potty learning happens when he child is ready, not the parent. Forcing the issue can cause long term harm. Stop with the pressure and wait till he’s ready.
