How do you know when its time to start?

I really want to start potty training my 19 month old son as he is really forward with everything for his age but I seem to be struggling with this.
He will sit on the potty for about 5 seconds and then he will get up and wee on the floor instead😥 Feel like he's never going to get used to it.

Try the Oh Crap method - DS trained by Day 4 (with minor wee accidents when playing) and he's 19 months also x
