My 3 year old is having real trouble with toilet training. He has days where he is great but more and more, he is regressing terribly and having accidents all the time. He will never, ever poo anywhere except in his pants either. It's got to the point that the nursery staff have told us he has to see the health visitor as they can't manage him. I have phoned health visitor and I'm waiting on a return call. Any advice?

I'd see your gp and ask for a referral to the specialist nursing team. Ours are called bladder and bowel nurses but they could be called continence team. They've been a fantastic support and especially helpful in communicating with nursery and school.
