DD is 2.5 and I started potty training on Monday as she seemed really keen and ready. The first three days went surprisingly well with only 2 accidents each day, and decreasing number of wees plus more ability to hold it if in buggy and take herslf rather than being reminder. Day 4 was worse however, day 5 better, day 6 no accidents and then today was 2 accidents again. So it feels like she is doing ok, too well to go back to nappies, but on the other hand she has not really made much progress in the week?

She starts nursery school tomorrow so I am worried it's all going to go out of the window as she will be distracted in the new environment plus using the toilet (separate room) instead of potty. Plus 2 accidents a day is not really good enough for nursery school is it, I can't expect them to change her clothes that often.

Thoughts - do I send her in pants tomorrow and hope for the best or do I switch back to nappies and try again in a few months...?

(yes I realise now it was a daft time to try!!)

I wouldn't put her back in nappies now you've started, so confusing. Just let them know you've just started, she's doing really, could they remind her and here's a few sets of clothes!

Thanks! We did already have one failed go at training a month ago so yes it could definitely be confusing to give up again. No accidents today at nursery (or at all!!) so I'm encouraged.
