How to deal with naps?

So we're a few days into wearing pants- lots of accidents but he's getting there...my question is should I wait until we've nailed it before putting him down for a nap/bedtime in pants or is it too much of a mixed message?

I would go for pull-ups for naps and a standard nappy overnight, I found it took about a year to be dry overnight after being toilet trained during the day.

Up to you really! You can be brave and go for it or you can keep nappies for sleep time only.

With my DD, I kept her in nappies for sleeping. Within a couple of weeks her nap one was always dry so I dropped that. A couple of months later, once her nappy had been consistently dry for 4-6 weeks, I stopped the bedtime one. She's never worn underwear for bed though. Either just a top or loose PJs. I didn't want her to have the secure feeling of underwear on whilst asleep and think it was ok to wee!

Sometimes I think I could've dropped the nappies completely from the start but it's a big commitment!

Pull ups. We call them bed time pants. Two weeks into it and he's reliably dry and we are ready to go for it with pants but I wouldn't do it straight away.

Thanks all, yep, we're sticking with pull ups for now...there's only so much laundry I can do!
