When's the best time

Hi, my dd is 19 months and I've thought about potty training I've us a potty around the house for a couple of months so she can get used to it a little and she sits on it now and again with nappy on but don't know if it's to early to try training her now?

I personally preferred to just get my kids to go on the toilet and didn't start until dd was closer to three than two
