Just wanting to hear from anyone who potty trained at 18 months and how it went. I know the general concept now is to leave it closer to 3, but what/how did you do it if you did ot earlier?

My friend tried it with her DD aged 18 months. It involved a few weeks of bodily fluids going everywhere until she conceded defeat. Same child trained within 3 days a year later.

I did it at 22mo with DD because she was refusing nappies. I was recommended the Oh Crap book which recommends training between 20 and 30 months, but it also has a chapter for introducing the methods earlier. It was very easy at 22mo, 18mo is probably a bit early for me though.
