Family loo seat

Hi,

What are your experiences of a family loo seat for use with potty training.

I think my 21 month old is almost ready to be potty trained but she is a great mimic and is showing no interest in a potty. She does however alert me and nursery staff when she has a dirty nappy (although less bothered about wet nappies). I am wondering if I use a family loo seat if she would become more interested in going to the toilet.

Has anyone had success using these?

We are also about to move house and have another baby so I was planning to have them instead of normal toilet seats in both bathrooms.

Thanks

We've had them for about 2-3 years now, since DS was potty trained. They're more comfortable for him and means that DD can copy us all when she wants a go.
