Hi! I'm starting potty training my LG she is 2.3. I was just wondering how often people ask them to try and wee and how long they keep them on the potty? We are straight in to pants and leggings and she had 2 accidents this morning then used the potty, then only 15 mins later started to go when sat on me so I sat her on the potty and got her to watch paw patrol and she did a big wee. I assume there will be accidents! How long until they know they need a wee and will ask to go?

If they're totally ready, 3 days will do it.

Give it three days. If there's no improvement, put her back in nappies and wait a bit longer. She's still quite young.

Ok great, thank you! She seems to be weeing really frequently, think il have to ask every 15-20 mins! She has been 5 times between 6&8:30 either in knickers or potty when I asked!
