Travel potty- do we need one? Which one?

I'm new to potty training so clueless about these things. Do we need a travel potty? It sounds useful for car journeys. Have other people found them useful? Which one would u get?

We just had normal potty in the boot with a few carrier bags. Most of the time near a toilet, but a cheap one in the car was fine.
