DS2 (2.5) is proving a complete monster to toilet train. If I put him on the potty/toilet he will go on command, so I know he has the physical control, but otherwise he will just pee/poo on the floor wherever he happens to be. He seems completely untroubled by this. He knows and can tell you what the toilet is for, but makes no effort to get there for the purpose, or say that he needs to go. This has been going on for more than a month without any improvement. I am frustrated and confused as to why he isn't getting it (DS1 at only just 2 had the basic idea in just a few days)....Is there something I'm maybe doing wrong or am I just expecting too much too soon? I really dont want to just leave it as he shows all the signs of being ready to learn; apart from that I have a young baby as well and I can't stand any more nappies! Tips please??

We had issues with DC2. We just kept at it and used lots of bribery. Sorry that's not more helpful! We did have regression with the birth of DC3 as well, so wonder if part of it is baby related and steps to help him feel more secure might help?
