Started toilet training our dd after a few failed previous attempts. We've tried a potty which she refused,a toilet seat and step which she refused. We got her to choose what she would feel comfortable with using, which was the seat and steps. She was doing well going onto toilet and having a wee several times. Then she had a chest infection which she was very poorly with. Since then we have started to toilet train again. We've discussed it, read books about it. Got a reward chart and stickers. She seems to hold her wee then goes into kitchen or top of stairs then wee's. Even though her seat is on toilet. We show her that its all ready for her. We ask her if she needs a wee. She has to walk past bathroom to get to kitchen. Need advice. Thanks

has she seen you use it?

Puggy79 · 03/09/2016 15:46

Yeah she has. Since I posted this we have really made a break through. It's like she just clicked and started to use it. Only just 1 accident a day. If that.

It's amazing how quick they click isn't it?

Makes waiting until their older so much more worth it

Dd was 3.5 and she got toilet training in 3 days. Hasn't had an accident since

Yay that's brilliant.
