DD is 2.5 and we started potty training a couple of weeks ago but she didn't seem ready so we planned to put it off a few weeks.
However she's now asking for the potty constantly every few mins saying wee's coming or poo's coming and looking distressed but then when she sits on the potty nothing ever happens. This can go on for 20 times on and off the potty especially when she's in the bath.
I don't want to ignore her asking for the potty but it's starting to become a real pain especially hoiking her in and out of the bath constantly! 
Any tips please? Should we just persevere and keep putting her on when she asks or just take it as a sign she's not ready and try to distract?!
