Potty training

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Sorry, I know this is a silly question.
DD is nearly two and definitely not ready to potty train just yet.
A friend gave us some old baby stuff recently including a potty which we put in the bathroom for future use.
DD has found the potty and likes to sit on it. We have explained what it is for but she obviously just thinks it is a little chair!
Do you think this is a good thing, that she likes sitting on the potty or is it undermining future potty training as she might continue to see it a just a chair?

It's a good thing, let her get used to it and play with it. That way you can put it in front of the TV and when she accidentally wees on it you can make a big thing about it.
It will lead in to your first step very nicely.

And it's much better than screaming in terror when shown it...
