I downloaded this earlier & my 2.5yr old loved it! We started training before xmas and poos have been hit & miss so this has come at a good time. Thank you.

My DD (3) suffers terribly with encopresis and it affects the whole family. It is a miserable and heartbreaking issue.
There is next to no support from the NHS in our area and with the issue being a social taboo is it very isolating.
I have downloaded the app and she really enjoyed the story.
We will do it every day and I hope it eventually clicks for her.
Thank you very much for considering these poor children who need any bit of help that can be offered

Your colouring book link doesn't work. It says 'direct linking not permitted'

I work with hv supporting families and I use this all the time with children reluctant to sit in the toileting. They love it, especially all the interactive buttons.

I will get this app as my 2.5yr old son is currently going through a stage of withholding and just will not poo! It’s becoming a big problem now and I need to find a way of getting him to poo normally 😫

Hi is this app still available

PatientInformationCentre · 28/10/2024 08:55

Sorry the app has now been withdrawn, however, you can still access the booklet at https://www.cntw.nhs.uk/resource-library/poo-goes-to-pooland/

I really struggled to potty train my little boy who has just turned 4. He would only poo in his nappy.
I spoke to the Eric helpline who were very helpful and advised it sounded like he was constipated.
We read the poo goes to Pooland story and it really helped my little one and he finally started doing a poo on the toilet/potty!
It was a great resource

Hi there, I'm a therapist who works with kids who have disabilities, supporting continence, and previously I used to frequently share the the Poo goes to Pooland app with clients - it was a great resource. Unfortunately it hasn't downloaded for a year or so now. Any plans for it to become available again? We found it so helpful as a tool.

Hi there, sorry due to capacity we were no longer able to support the app, due to the constant requirement for updates on IOS/Android platforms. However, the original colouring book is available at the following link - https://www.cntw.nhs.uk/resource-library/poo-goes-to-pooland/

Poo goes to Pooland - Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust

Developed by Tamsin Black as a colouring book for children with encopresis. Intended to promote understanding of toileting matters and to relieve anxiety.
