Poo help/advice?

Hi all, I started toilet training my son at the beginning of the summer holidays. By the end of the 6 weeks he was going most days with no wee accidents but still not asking. He struggles with poo's. He doesn't ask/say he needs it and it's pretty much always in his pants. The times he's done it in a potty we make a big thing of it, high fives, telling everyone how well he's done. He helps me put it in the toilet and flushes.
I have made him a chart today and when he gets 6 stickers he gets a Lego man. Which he is excited about but we still had poo in the pants today. Any tips/advice on what worked for you with the poo part of toilet training? My daughter was toilet trained within maybe a month.

The truth is that if he can't do it to get a Lego man, then he is just not ready. Sorry, as it is a ' drive you mad' situation.

You just have to continue as best you can without any comment about his accidents.
He isn't doing anything on purpose. You don't say how old he is , but unless he is 18, I suspect he is young.

Far too young to be plotting against you anyway, as in... How can I get the Lego man, but still poo in my pants, and drive my Mum, crazy etc.

Sorry, it's a patience thing. Poos always take longer than wees, and in my experience, boys take longer than girls.

Some of my boys were wetting at night at nine years old.
Xxx as it is a bu

That sort of thing wouldn't have even crossed my mind (plotting against me sort of thing). Since having the chart for the Lego man he's been trying for a poo when he has a wee and I'm happy with that. Was just wondering if there was anything I haven't tried that others had found worked. Will keep going with the chart and all the praise he gets when he wee's or poo's. Thanks.
