14 month old refusing to wear nappy?!

I have a 14 month old daughter who hates wearing a nappy, it makes no difference how frequently I change her, she will just take it off at every given opportunity. Over the last week or so, she seems to be taking it of and having a wee and soon as she's done so, and I'm wondering if an attempt at potty training at this age is ridiculous?? Especially as she has no concept of what it is to sit still for more then 2 seconds! Confused

Would like opinions on whether or not it is feasible to try potty training at this age, or whether it might be better to try cloth nappies and see if she takes better to those?

Thanks!Grin

No harm in trying. At that age it will be more a case of you getting her on the potty at the right time but if she's taking her nappy off and weeing anyway you might as well try getting it in a potty.

Go for it. This is a prime age for potty learning - it's what all our grandmothers and great grandmothers did. :)
