Just to give people hope-have posted quite a bit about ds's potty training traumas-we've had withholding and persistent soiling, ended up on movicol, and also total refusal to do a wee in public toilets due to his fear of hand dryers.
This week, he has had two little breakthroughs. At granny and grandad's house he told me he needed a poo and asked for a pull up, rather than just withholding and becoming evermore manic before finally having a traumatic accident.
And today I asked him whilst at softplay if he needed a wee and he said 'yes I do' and came with me, did a wee, with NO FUSS.
It is AMAZING what bribery with kinder eggs can achieve. This has been ongoing since April, and we still have some way to go, but at least there has been some improvement!
