Freaks out! Need help

So my daughter is almost 2. She sits on her potty fine and I can tell when she needs a wee because she grabs her bits she hates it when she isn't wearing a nappy. She has had a wee on the potty 2 times but as soon as a bit of wee happens she gets scared and wants to get off she then crys for a wile after. I don't no what to do because I feel like I'm traumatising her. I stay happy and show her how pleased I am but nothing helps

Following as dd does the same except she is 2.5. She wants to wear big girl pants, knows when she needs a wee or poo, but is scared when she does it on the potty. We have decided to have a break from potty training in the hope that she will be over the fear next time we try, but I'd love to hear any other suggestions.
