Time to see the GP?

My DS is 6yr7m & still in nappies at night. He is asking to go without nappies, but the bed is always wet in the morning.

We have tried awakening him at night to pass urine about 11pm, but the bed is set by the morning.

If we leave him without a nappy, he is still dry when we go to bed; the wetting seems to happen in the early hours.

He was 3 months premature & very late to toilet train (nearly 5 for poo). I was also a bed-wetter as a child.

Is it time to see the GP? Or should I buy an alarm off the internet 1st? Or just continue to use night nappies?

You can try your GP but they don't really do anything until age 7, Bedwetting is seen as normal until then, if you can talk him into wearing them until he's 7 nappies would be best all round.
