Refusing to go to the toilet and then wetting herself

We started potty training our little girl just before she was 2.5 and it all started off pretty good. She had a few accidents but other than that she got the hang of it. It's now 3 months down the line and she's becoming very hard work! She point blank refuses to go to the toilet when asked and will only go of her own accord. If she's drank a lot and we're going out she will kick, scream and run away rather than go to the toilet. Today we were at the park and she mentioned needing a wee but as soon as we went to the loo she started arching her back to get off it, 20 mins later she said it again but angrily lashed out when I suggested going back to the loo - 2 mins later she wee'd all over the slide.

She's very happy to go when she instigates but I've no idea how to deal with the times when I know she needs to go!

If she is still occasionally going, I would use pullups again, that way shes able to learn the toilet judgement for herself.

We have exactly the same thing here, two weeks ago no accidents, now refusing to go and wetting herself within minutes. Fingers crossed it's a stage they quickly leave behind.

The answer to this is bribery.
