Hi guys I could really use some advice. Started potty training dd yesterday and it's not going well. She refuses to sit on the potty or toilet, refuses to wear pants and is wetting on the floor a lot. She keeps getting pull ups out the drawer and trying to put them on. I don't think she knows when she needs to wee and seems to go VERY frequently. Worst of all she is getting very distressed and agitated and I think it's worrying her terribly :( is she not ready, shall I leave it a few weeks? She is 2 years 7 months. Thank you x

If it's upsetting her you should wait a month or two.
But in that time take her to the toilet with you, let her play with the potty, role play and get a book to read to her about potty training.
that way you will still be getting her ready to be potty trained and it won't feel like you've wasted time.
