2.7yo started doing poo in pants...

Dd2 was potty trained in February. She got the hang of using a potty very quickly and within a week was 99% reliable with wee, and happy to wee in the potty or toilet. She was maybe 60% reliable with poo in the potty. But for the last month she has got less and less reliable with poo, and has done every single poo in her pants for the last month, except for one occasion when I happened to guess one was coming and sat her on the loo.

I've tried being matter of fact (which is soooo hard when there's 3 accidents to clear up a day...), sticker charts, the promise of a reward after doing poo in the potty etc.

Any advice? Its really starting to wear me down. X

That didn't make much sense... I meant for the last couple of months she has got jess reliable, and all poos in pants for the last month. X

Someone posted once on here about making it 'their' problem to clear up. Not in a mean way, but just that they have to get the dirty pants off, do the most of the wiping, find new ones, put them on, put old ones in wash etc etc etc. Refuse to help but don't be cross. Turns into such a faff that it's just easier to go in the toilet.

Probably haven't explained it very well but they way she said it was a really good idea.

My son is exactly the same. He was completely dry in a week but now refuses to do a poo on the toilet or potty. I am really loosing patients but then feel really bad if I shout at him as I know it won't make the problem any better. Please I am after some advice.
