Wiping own bum with short arms!

DS is 5, has been toilet trained for over 2 years but still has trouble wiping his bum reliably after a poo. His arms are quite short for his body and hi just can't bend that way! Does your DC wipe sitting or standing? He holds it at school so he doesn't have to deal with it but not a permanent solution...

Hi, could he wipe while sitting down - wiping from the back to the front. I know this isn't recommended for girls but could work for boys maybe? This is what I think I'll teach my DS

I think sitting is better for teaching, but i've never tried, Blush i still wipe my 9 year old.
