dd is 4.3. She's been dry in the day since about two and a half. But at night she can get through two or three pull ups. She does a wee before she gets ready for bed and then has a pull up on. She then has some milk which is something we've battled with and I know that needs to stop before we stop pull ups. But I don't think it accounts for all the wees in the night - when I go to bed around 11 her pull up is totally full so I change it while she sleeps. Then by about 5am it is full again and she often comes into my room at this time and I change it again and she goes back to bed. We tried to stop pull ups about 6 months ago for a week with mixed success - a couple of dry nights and some accidents that upset her a lot Then she just refused not to wear them. She now says she never wants to stop wearing them. I have told her that bigs girls who go to school (she'll start in September) don't wear pull ups. I also have a baby due in oct and am determined she is out of them by then.
And to complicate things she was born with a kidney condition and had operations around this as a baby and they are fine now but our consultant, when she was 2, said don't rush potty training (I thought she was ready at 2 but put it back to 2 and a half on this advice). However our apps are only every two years now so not due one until next year so not sure if she would say the same about night times.
Any advice please (other than stop the bedtime milk).
