Hi mum's
My 3 year old little girl has been doing wee's on the potty for almost 3 weeks but we're having trouble getting her to do poo's on the potty. She'll have little poo accidents in her knickers but then try's to hold her Poo in until we put a bed time pull-up on and she will happily do it in there.
Any tips mummies.
were also thinking of getting her a toilet seat for the toilet to see if it will help.

Many chilled are worried about "letting go" when they are nappy less. My eldest always asked for a nappy, I ended up chasing him around with the potty as the poo started coming of its own accord Shock. I think most of them get to grips with it after a little trial and error. Smile

Had the same issue with DS1. It was solved by Grandad putting him on the loo and he did a poo. Maybe DS1 had picked up on our slight anxious/pressuring approach and Grandad's his matter of fact attitude just worked?

My son (3 next week) just did his first poo in his potty. I had tried putting him on the toilet before but he just wouldn't go even though he seemed desperate to. He's been weeing on the toilet for a while now and does it himself. But he wouldn't do poos.
He was running round like he needed to go, so I thought I'd just tell him to sit on the potty to go poo, he sat down and eventually it happened, ha.
I think you need to wait it out. Been pestering my son to do poo on the loo for months. Refuse a nappy, and sit her on the potty or toilet if she needs to go. If it's to no avail, use a nappy then let her flush it down the toilet, show her where it's meant to go.
