About to give up again with DD, who's almost 4

Finally got DD, who's nearly 4, into underpants about 4 weeks ago & it went well for the first week, but she's refused to do anything on the potty or the loo for the past 3 weeks and just goes in her pants instead.

thought it would be a step backwards to put her back in nappies, but am now thinking that it's just too stressful for her to continue & we really should give up for more. So depressed by the thought. it seems like she'll never be ready.

advice welcomed. thanks.

How did this go, Has she improved?

She's back in nappies and much less stressed out. We'll give it a few weeks and then see if she's open to trying again.

I'm sorry to hear that. When's her 4th birthday, could you build up to that now that she is a big girl?

My youngest son is 5 and still in nappies, it can seem to go on forever. It's nothing you are doing i have a 2 year old daughter who is more or less trained, some kids are just impossible.

What is her poo like, could it be constipation or a uti?

She sometimes says she'll potty train when she turns four. That's next month, so maybe she'll really do it then. :)

We've ruled out UTI and she's definitely not constipated. Just not psychologically ready.

I'm trying not to stress out about it anymore. She'll get there eventually! Thanks for the support!
