Where do I start?

Ds1 is 19m and I've started to think about potty training. I have no idea where to start, should I go by age, or be looking for signs? He has started letting me know once he has done a wee etc.
is there a book or website anyone would recommend?

if you could for a first step just go nappy free (and obv. trouser free). only when you are in the house so can clean up with no fuss.

With my 2 i feel it really helped the link between the first urge feeling and knowing what comes next.
