I've decided to make a huge effort to get them potty trained over the 2 weeks off I have over xmas. I'm thinking of just ditching the pullups completely (we have wooden floors!), as they know when they need to go, & they do use the potty sporadically.....any better ideas? (I'm a bit clueless, it must be said, & mum's no help as we were all in cloth nappies and toilet trained before 2!)

Ditch the pull ups. Invest in some padded waterproof backed pants which minimise the puddles but still leave them soaking and promise them a chocolate button for every wee/poo in the toilet.

Chocolate buttons worked for me too.

The trouble with twins is they always have something more important to do Wink so need a bit of help focussing!
