I am so stressed with DD1 today, to quickly tell you the story just before she was 2 she told me "no nappies Mummy" and as it was the Summer I said fine you can run around pantless, quite a few accidents and quite a few successes too. Fast forward 3 months and nothing much has changed. In the house we go nappyless and it's a bit hit and miss, yesterday no accidents, this morning we've had 6 wees on the carpet and 1 poo (we've only had one pee and poo on the potty all day too) she's just standing there peeing when the potty is a foot away from her.

I thought OK you aren't ready so went back to nappies but she pulls them off and says pee potty and trying to get her night nappy on is a nightmare as she'll say "no nappy pee pee potty" I am shattered today (non sleeping DD2 different thread) and all I seem to have done is clean pee up from the carpet (which I shampooed last week) theres just damp patched everywhere. Even had to clean poo from a Fisher Price Little Person this morning as she had squished it in the poo.

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried pull up nappies? I tend to leave my ds without nappy for a while so he can use the potty (he's just starting to get the idea) but when I need him to wear a nappy,(bedtime/going out etc) I have used pull ups and told him they are 'big boy pants' seem to be able to bribe him with this rather than normal nappy.

Yes I have used pull ups she just thinks they are a normal nappy. She will aske for the toilet outside but not regularly enough for us to go out nappyless.
