Any advice welcome. DS is 3 and we are v lucky: he toilet trained himself for both pee &poo in space of a week 3 mo ago. He is also out of night time nappies,
HOWEVER: last week he got a huge fright when a tiny spider was in bath. It was dead and i flushed it down the toilet. He was fine for about 4 days but the last 3 days he flatly refuses to sit on toilet...or go into the bath!
I have now managed to get him to pee standing up- a HUGE mess. But he hasn't done any poos in about 3 days. Which is unusual for him. Ironically he sits on the toilet at mom&toddler groups (according to childminder).
I knew it was too easy.
I don' t know what to do an find toilet training stresful at the ebst of times -eg with my DD a couple of years ago.
WHat do i do?? I cannot fore him. He doesn' t even care about treats/chocs etc.
