Anyone had similar experiences? Our ds took to potty training fantastically at 3 y, only 2 or 3 accidents in the first week and that was it - he just decided himself when to go to the toilet, we didn't have to remind him. 6 months on he now seems to have accidents 5 or more times a week. Several days he'll be fine then some days he might pee his pants numerous times. Sometimes I wonder if he's just being lazy - like watching tv and doesn't want to leave it to go to the toilet. Today, bizarrely, he even leaked a few drops in his pants, then took of his shorts and pants, put on his pull up (which we use at night) so he could pee in that. His bedroom is right next to the bathroom. I know when first potty training all the focus is on rewards and praise but what about now? If I felt like he was genuinely having accidents as in he couldn't get to the toilet in time then that is one thing, but having time to change into a nappy just to pee, then surely that's no excuse. Any ideas???
