Dd is 2.1 and we have been PT for 4 days and she will both wee and poo in the potty... If she happens to be on it at that time.
So basically I'm putting her on every 15/20 mins for 15/20 mins and if something happens great but more often then not, nothing happens and she gets up and then does it in her pull ups and doesn't even tell me.
At least on Monday she was saying 'I did a wee' but now nothing.
She doesn't seem to have any indication it's about to happen and seems completely unable to tell me in advance. And even after several successes she still isn't getting the idea.
She is just so busy playing that she doesn't seem interested.
Day 1/2 she got a lot of praise and a treat for each success and it seemed to help but then day 3/4 and so far today she tantrums for the treat but won't go on the potty!
Is she simply not ready? I don't think she's there physically or mentally. DH does as she is quite advanced in other areas, her speaking and learning ability. She can count in 3 languages to 10/20. She knows her alphabet, can almost spell out her own name. Has the language skills of a 3.5 year old. Uses numbers without having to count... That sort of thing.
(Don't mean to sound boastful. This has lost us a lot of friends due to competitiveness but I just want to show that it's not a learning thing she could learn it if she wanted to)
So I am afraid that he is putting too much pressure on the PT thinking she can get it easily when she just doesn't seem interested at all!!
Advice please!
