DS1 is 2.11 and we've been potty training a week. Everything is going in the potty bar the odd accident but he can only manage with pants and light shorts on at most. Putting elasticated sweatpants on resulted in the biggest full on accidents so far (maybe because they are heavier/tighter and so feel more nappy-like)

And he doesn't go very long between wees. We have managed an hour out where he stayed dry but when at home he can be going as often as every 30/45 minutes. Is this normal?

I'm wondering if I have started too young or do they all wee frequently in the beginning? Thanks

Plus he now won't stop playing with his willy but I guess that'll be an issue at any age. It's already driving me bonkers! I don't want to make it into a big deal and I know he's just found this amazing toy he's now got easier access to. But FFS just leave it alone! Smile

both these are normal, the bladder should increase with practice the more he has to hold.

I shall keep on persevering then, thanks. I don't think I was prepared for just how much he wees and how often!
