Going to really try today!
DD is 3.5, knows when she wees and poos.
I suppose it's just laziness that I haven't properly tried but I also have a 2.5 year old boy so it's pretty full on most days!

She will happily wee on the toilet, so I'm just going to ask her every 10 mins if she needs one.
However, our issue is poo! Apparently she has to do a poo in her nappy! I've tried some gentle cajoling, and told her at the end of the week if she is good at using the toilet we can choose a bear from the bear factory.
I'm not offering a direct reward for every time she goes on the loo, just lots of praise :)

I haven't read any books, just kind of winging it!

Wish us luck :)

Lots of children still use a nappy for pooing right up to school age, it's not a major problem, if you get peeing sorted first you can work on pooing later.

Thanks Pirate :)
We have had 2 wees on the loo, no accidents and she is off to grannies in her pants.
I've decided if she starts to get distressed about a poo then we'll just pop a nappy on :)
