My DS can hold on for hours, and hasn't wet his nappy at night since he was just under a year old (still wears one though!). We've been potty training for a couple of weeks, and he will use the potty or the toilet, knows when to go etc. Do I just keep a nappy on at night just in case, and if so, until what age? Went to buy nappies yesterday and somewhat resented spending £6 on something that'll only ever be 'just in case'!! He always wees when he gets up, but not in his sleep.

Surely if he never wees at nighr dont bother with night nappy when potty training. Just put waterproof mattress cover on for accidents.

DD was like that, we stopped night nappies at about the point you're at. No problems so far, 3 months on. We said we were going to finish up the packet of nappies but actually it started to seem so silly putting her in one at the time of day she had been dry for longest, we just didn't bother one day.
