Movicol & Potty Training

DD 2.7 been potty training for a month and doing ok. Been using the potty for poos for several months. Used to be on movicol but things improved so we stopped. This was before she started using the potty.

Had to put her back on it last week, and pooing in the potty no longer happens. It's like peanut butter and comes out over half a day or so. I don't think she really knows. Just been out for dinner and ended up with poo all over me in the street. Gone through so many knickers this week.

What do we do?

Have you been to Dr? Sounds like severe constipation, where the runny poo just continually seeps around a dried impacted mass.

I know only of this phenomenom from internet forums, as I have a 4 yo who wouldn't/ couldn't potty train.

The 'cure' will be more movicol but better to go and see someone who knows what they are talking about.

No we haven't been back recently. I will make an appointment. It seems to have calmed down a bit. But no big poo. Just bits.
