My youngest of 4 children refused to keep his nappies on from about 2 so we went down the potty training route, he started off well really, had a month or so of normal progression with 70% success in the potty and is 100% dry at night.... But, then he wouldn't use his potties and turned out he wanted to use toilet like his older brothers, which is great..,however, he keeps doing poo's on the floor... He is fully aware he needs one as he will take off his pants first, he has never soiled himself.... I have spent the last 6 weeks trying to calmly not make a fuss, explaining that poo goes in the potty or toilet but he doesnt seem to take any notice! The carpets are a real mess (he drove his big truck through one poo...then drove it all round the living room) and my patience is wearing very thin, I have started getting cross (i'm worn out by it) but he still carries on... I have put potties in his usual poo spots (behind sofa is a favorate! And outside but he usually removes them) any one any tips???? We can't go on like this... My Hubby wants him back in nappies but it seems such a shame (and he won't keep them on anyway!)
