Dry in the day....now what?

DD1 is 2.5yo and we started potty training almost 3 weeks ago.

It's gone very well so far, the odd accident here and there but she now reliably tells us when she needs a wee or a poo or even just takes herself off to the potty/toilet.

Soooo, should i now go on to naps and bedtime?

At the moment we're putting her in pull up pants for her nap and a nappy at night. A lot of the time her pants seems dry after her nap and then she'll go and do a big wee. She's sometimes dry in the morning like this too but other times tells me she's already done a wee.

Is it best to tackle the naps first, wait till that's sorted then go on to night time? Or would she find that confusing and I should do all sleep training in one go?

Any advice/experience greatly appreciated.

DD was dry during the day for about 6 months before night time. She just wasn't ready to give up her pull-ups even though I asked quite regularly. She would wake me up in the night if she needed to go to the toilet and when she was consistently doing that with no wet pull-ups we then worked on getting her sleeping in her knickers.

I personally like an easy life, so in your shoes I wouldn't be rushing it. She is dry during the day that's a great achievement. Night time is down to hormones. I found asking DD when she wanted to stop with the pull-ups worked best.

Thanks PosssumPoo - that's really helpful. I might try and see how she goes with her naps first then and not worry about night time for a while.
