I know this has been covered a million times...

DS is 2.8. Where the hell do I start? I have absolutely NO IDEA how to do this. So, can anyone give me any pointers or recommend a book or method that worked for them please.

I have a week free to have a go with no plans. What about potties? I bought a basic wilko one but it seems a bit small and uncomfortable. Any better ones?

And what about car journeys? Although I have no plans we will need to move a bit. Do I stick on a nappy or use pull up.

Please help a clueless mum!!!!

Just go with the flow, when at home I would let him walk about eith only pants on, makes it quick for toilet trips.

Does he understand when he needs the toilet? Just get him to tell you when he does, and keep asking a lot if he needs the loo.

Will he wear pull ups? My dd refused in the daytime, so I didn't use them hardly, unless on a plane, or long car trip.

Personally I think pull ups can confuse them and make the whole process longer.

I have a cheap potty and a chair type one that my dd prefers. Its just easier for her to sit on.

Just remember to keep asking and take plently of spare clothes whenever you go anywhere.

Good luck!

Just thought, asda have a baby event on, might be worth checking and see if they have a chair type potty on offer.
